Description: My rendition of African tribal masks. Over the years I have experienced some people being fearful of the African masks, because some or most of these masks have always been presented as fearful, horrific, associated with voodoo, and the list goes on. This is my way of educating the viewer that African masks have many culturally meaningful representations most of which do not possess the negativity imposed by Western cultures.
